When it comes to the scalability of a file, Vectors still are the best solution. It does not matter if the Illustration will be used in a mobile game, a magazine or brochure, or in this case, be printed 25 meters wide to serve as a background at a festival. The initially purchased stock did not suffice and even though the original 3D artist was willing, the software did not allow any bitmap based export large enough to guarantee the needed quality. I was more than happy to help and create this intricate pirate ship in Adobe Illustrator.
